Fully Restored & Rebuilt 1925 Collard & Collard Traditional Overstrung Upright Piano

A beautiful example of a high quality British overstrung by a top manufacturer, built in their Golden Age and recently restored to new standard. The dark French polished case is immaculate with a glowing high sheen finish (20 coats of French polish followed by antique waxing) and there are new brass trimmings fitted throughout.

The original set of ivory keys are white, flush, weighted and responsive, with a medium touch and good grip for control. The long strings and large perfect soundboard give this overstrung power, presence and volume. The tone is even, soft, rounded and pure throughout the range, with a strong velvety bass and clean, thin treble.

The internal action is completely rebuilt and all the hammers, felts, springs and tapes are replaced and in perfect order. Regulated and tuned to Concert Pitch, or above if required. Cast iron frame, internal underdamping, solid brass pedals and built to see its owner through a lifetime of play.

Ideal for all levels of player, from beginner to advanced. Perfect casing, rich resonant sound and responsive touch.
