Weber Concert Grand-O'Briain Pianos
1920's Weber 9ft Concert Grand Piano
The Weber Piano Company was one of the leading piano manufacturers of the 19th and 20th Centuries. They built high quality, renowned for their refined sound quality, high quality woods and material components, robust inner workings, responsive touch, and pure even tone.
This stunning Weber Concert Grand piano resided in Kimbolton Castle and was used regularly for music concerts and school performances. Kimbolton Castle has a rich and fascinating history that has seen it develop from a wooden motte and bailey castle in Norman times, into the building it is today - home to Kimbolton School. The family seat of the Dukes of Manchester from 1615 to 1950, it is famous as the final home of King Henry VIII's first wife, Queen Katharine of Aragon. We have recently completed a full body restoration and internal recondition/regulation. The piano is now restored to its Former Glory, to become a true Heirloom to its next owner.
