Restored to New Standard Woodchester Overstrung Upright Piano
Woodchester pianos were built in Stroud, Gloucestershire, and were one of the last British piano manufacturers. This particular model was built in 2000, a few years before the company finally closed its doors. The acoustic tone is full, rich and rounded, with a responsive touch and nicely weighted keys. The player can expend energy without holding back, and has a similar feel to a Yamaha.
This model is finished in an attractive Walnut veneer, and is restored to a high standard, with great attention to detail, inside and out. Internally, the action is as good as new, showing no signs of use. The piano is fitted with the third pedal for when the pianos sounds needs to be muted. Ideal for all levels of player, from beginner to advanced.
