A fully rebuilt to new standard Steinway Model S Baby Grand piano; a true expression of lyricism and tone. This Steinway has warmth, projection and sustain, with a light to medium touch; an instrument the player can expend energy into without holding back. At 155 cm in length, this “Baby” grand piano was introduced in the 1930’s and features the powerful and rich tone of a much larger piano. Small enough to fit nicely into almost any room, this compact Steinway & Sons is handcrafted using the same materials and techniques that go into making Steinway concert grand pianos. It has original ivory keytops, rare and indicative of being kept in a kind, caring climate. Quality choice of materials and superior craftsmanship went into the rebuild of this exquisite instrument using new Steinway Hamburg parts.
