1915 Restored USA Singola Overstrung Upright Traditional Piano

A large powerful overstrung with a big, fat, full and rounded tone, and with the presence of a grand piano due to its large soundboard and very long strings. The original ivory keys are responsive and perfectly weighted and the player can expend energy on the keyboard without holding back. The bass register is particularly potent, strong and velvety to the last note, so for those who like a big bass, it's perfect. The tone is rich and even throughout making it a great instrument to listen to, where its presence fills the room with sound. Nice to record on.

The Rosewood casing is French polished by hand and the brass trimming are renewed throughout. Recently regulated and tuned to Concert Pitch. Partial tape and bass damper replacement and in excellent mechanical order. Ideal for all grades and would suit a big house with no turns getting it in, as the depth of this instrument is huge and will only fit through doors that can accomodate its depth. It is by far the biggest member of the piano family, as it once was a self playing piano. It's a piano with a big character and a beautiful rich tone.
