1930 (4'4") Compact 1930 Rogers Eungblut (Kemble) British Baby Grand Piano

A small instrument, but with large soundboard, lyrical tone and characteristic singing line. For its size, the sound quality is excellent, with an even and consistent pure tone throughout the range. The action feels nice, medium touch, and the original ivory keys have good grip and balance. The Mahogany casing is in original condition, very good overall, with some minor wear, but not too much. It has been oiled and waxed and the brassworks refinished. The last eight bass strings have been replaced, internals are fully overhauled and regulated, and the piano is stable in Concert Pitch. This is a nice solid built baby grand with a particularly mellow and pleasant soft tone. Ideal for someone learning the piano and could see you through the grades.
