1922 Fully Rebuilt 5ft German Winklemann Baby Grand Piano

A beautiful refinished to brand new standard German Winklemann with rich bright tone and light responsive touch. A nice instrument to play, with a distinct and charteristic singing line similar to a Steinway. Restrung, re-pinned, guilded frame and felts, replaced hammer heads, rebuilt action, buffed original ivory keys in perfect condition, replaced brass trimmings, large tall turned legs with refinished castor wheels.

The grained Rosewood casing was stripped and rebuilt back to brand new condition and is stunning. The ornate music stand is a nice feature and the top lid extends very high giving it a tall appearance. The frame of this piano is beautiful, guilded and with the company name acting as sound resonator holes, with a classical painting in the centre of frame, rare to find on a baby grand. The piano is tuned, regulated and stable in Concert Pitch. It requires little effort to play as it is light and responsive, with a really nice touch to suit all levels of player, from beginner to advanced, in particular, a jazz player. The casing is small and compact, but the soundboard is as big as you can get for its size, due to the premium design of the casing, which has a very wide back arch, giving you greater tone, volume and presence.
