A fine example of a traditional German Bluthner which is rebuilt to former glory through an extensive restoration process that took six months to complete. The internal action was stripped bare and each individual component was cleaned, repaired, and reconditioned back to its original state, over five thousand parts in all. In a previous restoration the large case was stripped, repaired, re-polished in black, and the key-tops were replaced with new ones. The brass pedals, plate, and trimmings are finished to a high standard, the action is regulated and piano is stable in Concert Pitch, with tight tuning pins and perfect pin block. The tone is full and rounded, with a light to medium responsive touch. The hammers are shaped and voiced to give an even, pure sound. This fine instrument is suitable for a beginner up to Grade 5. It is not suitable for an advanced player or for recording purposes.
