Fully Restored & Reconditioned 1938 JJ Hopkinson Overstrung Upright Piano

John Hopkinson established his company in Leeds in 1835. When his brother James joined 11 years later, the firm of J & J Hopkinson would become one of the larger and well respected British piano makers of the 20th Century. By the time this piano was built, they were established enough to drop the "J & J" and just name their instruments "Hopkinson." This piano is typical of the 1930's style - with curves and rounded edges, giving it a more contemporary look than the pianos of the 20's. It has 85 notes, with original ivories cleaned and polished. The action has been reconditioned, so is in excellent order. The Mahogany cabinet is refinished and all brassworks polished. It also has it's original key! The tone is superb, full and rounded, with even depth of tone throughout. Nicely weighted keys, with a light to medium responsove touch. Ideal for all levels of player, from beginner to advanced.

Comes with new adjustable stool, five year warranty, free Leinster delivery, and is tuned on arrival. Tuning thereafter is 80 per year.
