Rebuilt 1930 British Elysian Overstrung Traditional Upright

A tall Walnut overstrung with a very nice rounded tone and responsive light to medium touch. A good instrument to play, with a fully restored French polished casing and renewed brass trimmings throughout.

The original ivory keys are in perfect condition, white and flush, as the piano was kept in a caring climate all its life. The tone has lyricism with plently of volume and presence due to having a large soundboard and very long strings.

Every aspect of the casing and internals are restored to the highest standard, with rebuilt action and replaced hammer heads.

The tone is rich, clear, with a nice singing line and even depth of tone throughout. Clear potent bass, pure and resonant mid range and bright crisp high end. Ideal for all levels of player, from beginner to advanced.
