6'4" Danemann Teak Veneer Grand Piano

Danemann are well respected British piano builders known for making climate proof pianos suitable for schools and music institutions. This Danemann came from a secondary school in London and although the case was in poor condition, it was tuned twice a year and internally serviced. The keys were covered in marker, but have been cleaned and buffed and have no chips. They are weighted and responsive and piano has a medium touch, nice to play. The soundboard is stained, this is reflected in the low price, but is in perfect condition, with no cracks. The action is responsive and in perfect working order, as is the plate and bridges. Piano has a clear, rounded tone with signifiacnt volume and presence. The case is French Polished. There was deep scratching throughout the case, we managed to sand most of it out prior to polishing, so the case looks good now, but there are signs of wear. Price is non-negiotable, thank you!
