Highest quality, restored and completely rebuilt to new standard 1896 Carl Bechstein Arts & Crafts overstrung Grand Concert upright piano. A long and thorough restoration has produced possibly the finest piano in its class, with great attention to fine detail. The tall designer Rosewood case is French polished many times, followed by antique waxing, with decorative brass works shined to a mirror finish. It's exactly as it would have looked leaving the Bechstein factory in Berlin.

New strings, pins, gilded cast iron frame with serial number, new hammers, dampers, felts, bushings, springs, completely rebuilt action, restored pedal section, with thousands of parts replaced throughout the instrument. The original ivory keys are in perfect condition, white, flush, thick to feel, with good grip and control when playing. The action and keys are responsive, with a medium balanced touch; a real pleasure to play, dynamic and versatile. The tone is big, powerful, yet rounded and soft, expressive in the mid and high range, has a strong Tenor, and is potent in the Bass register.
